Roleplaying (Game)

The forums can be modified so that there can actually be a miniature text-based RPG set up to compliment story driven RPs, complete with dice rolls, character sheets and stats.

Does anyone want to see this feature implemented on the forums and does anyone want to help develop the style of the text-game?

Hmm, I won't vote b/c all my time is devoted to other things. This sort of RP game would suck me right in and I couldn't escape!

Ah, well, then.
If it's going to be along the lines of a project, requiring some significant amount of time, then no.

So this text-based RPG and dice rolls, how does this "game" work? What's the general idea and the rules for it? I'm a little slow if this is a simple question lol.

I say yes.

I'll be willing to help in it. Although won't be able to work straight away not until mid June I don't know "how" I'd help anyway since I'm not particularly great at the kind of scripting needed for this.

On the other hand, it's not something that is needed immediately, so perhaps yes - but at a later point in time.

I'm always up for a good rp though I probably prefer doing the rp in game and not on the forums.

An RP in-game? But.. Then that'd take away from actual play time

Of course you rp in mmorpg... why people insist on turning mmorpg into mmog I will never understand... besides some people are actually capable of play a game and roleplaying at the same time. Its not that hard really. Marilldusk can be a real nerd when I role play her with a giant impenetrable ice cream bucket that she can squeeze into. Wait is because your afraid of it cutting into your play time or that you are afraid of roleplaying a girl.

Its actually just a habit now for me to pick girl chars xD
I've been playing 'em since.. Umm.. My first mmorpg; Lineage from back in like 2002-2003.. So yeah.
