So I have a question..

Does anyone else still dye Easter Eggs every year?

i do it, to do something with my family.

meh i just like boiled eggs, that are blue

I do it with my nieces now. x3 Since I don't quite plan on having kids any time soon.

Hmm~ If more people say that they do dye eggs, I'm just gonna use this thread to post my awesome epic egg dyeing abilities.

Used to, but since family are far apart, we rarely do nowadays.

Blowing the eggs is when you poke a hole through the top and bottom of the raw egg, (pointing down) you blow from the bottom of the egg, to make the contents come out the top. It's kind of hard, but it allows you to keep the eggs. Because then it's just shells.

I never quite got the holiday myself. Or where the origin of the tradition came from. I personally believe someone was smokin something before coming up with this holidays tradition.

This tells me nothing of how a large rabbit hiding colorful eggs and chocolates came into the holiday.

it just happened, one family wanted to do something fun for the holiday, and it just spread. THAT'S ALL.
