Help Wanted: Image Editor

Description: We're in need of one person (perhaps two, depending on the workload), that can help the CHG team with the image design/editing portion of maintaining the guild site and forums.

Requirements: Background in image design and editing
Image editing software (MS Paint does not count)
Be easily contactable

What you gotta do: If you are interested in the position, please e-mail us at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] with the following fields ~ First/Last name, Guild/Forum name, a brief summary about yourself and why you think you'd be interested, at least 2 proofs of what you can do. One must be a render job! .JPG or .PNG, as well as the editor file (.PSD if you use Adobe Photoshop).

Once again, e-mail: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], your information, a preview of what you can do.

Something like a .psd if you're using Photoshop. Not sure what Gimp or other ones save as... But it means it'll open only in that program. It'll let me see everything you did, rather than just the final thing. Because that's what matters.

I think GIMP can save as .psd but they have their own file format as well called .xcf

I haven't used it in a long time (I uninstalled it as a matter of fact, lol) so I'm not sure.

You don't need fireworks to vector.

xP i like using fireworks, since it was what i first learned to use, i've stuck with it 4 now o-o

Could you guys give a example of what kind of "picture edeting" your prefering 2 o.O' like ex siggy making, or maybe perhaps wallpapers? or...hmmm.... Edit ss 2 make them look less boring?

For a quick clarification we would like something of your own work! That is, not using pre-made models, such as anime characters, as the major basis of your work. Everything else is free reign though!

I'm really interested in this, since I'm minoring in graphic design. Only thing is that I need to know what a render job is. I most likely have done something along those lines.

Finely removing something from the image around it.

So, cutting that girl out of your sig would be. But it has to look perfect.

Ah, yes, in that case, I've done that a bazillion times. Actually, I did it for my avatar, haha.

Question...is this a paying job for professional work or is this just something for fun?

For fun, I don't have the extra money to pay you.
