Yay! Got my new computer!

Some complications happened when I got my laptop back from Dell, so they sent a new, better one as compensation.

Core i7 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a graphics card that dwarfs my last one, and even that one was good. :3

So yeah, if CH ever starts, I'm ready for it. XD

congrats on the new labtop,wish i had a better one but mine has very low space on it =_+. and on the left hand.....bad knews its not comeing out

I can't get into vent until I get a headset. If I use the laptop's built-in mic, it gets echo-ish and then eventually leads to high-pitched, ear-piercing noise.

Believe me, I've tried using vent before with this laptop (well, on my old one, but it's the same type).

Well you dont really need to get a headset. Just a mic would do (like me).
Mics cost like $10-$20 too.

I should probably also mention I need to save every penny for when I'm living in my apartment in college next year. Gotta pay for the electricity. Not to mention I'm an animation student, and a 500-sheet pack of animation paper cost $30. And with the frame rate we use (24 fps), that's $30 for 20-21 seconds of animation.

I have to save up money. I know I have a headset, I just don't know where it is. I don't look every day because it's not a main priority.

o-o what r the specs specifically?
when u say intel i7 is it the i7 720, i7 940, or which one, cause there's a huge difference =O,
